Birds Build Nests Underground are a Prague-based trio which likes playing with old media: vinyl records and film. Keywords: turntablism, improvised music, psychedelic, found footage, expanded cinema. The collage is different each time, the surface is scratchier each time, the death of material is closer each time. The best way to play is to wait for what is born from a hastily sketched situation. Too much thinking kills music.

Tonight’s monsters are reincarnations of little cartoon and family horrors. Too late did we realize that our memory worked against us and didn’t allow us to forget what we expected to be forgotten. Some things are destined to be unforgettable.
